Tropicana staged in The Havana Lobby
The Staging · The Havana Lobby

Staged in the faded lobby of a grand hotel in Havana. Mint and pink peeling walls, tall palms, a hot pink suit thrown across green velvet.

Interpretation

Loud, fast and generous. Tropicana stacks blocks of emerald, hot pink and cobalt, scrubs them back and paints over them again, until the canvas feels like a whole summer compressed into one wall.
