Terra Aurea staged in The Desert House
The Staging · The Desert House

Staged in an adobe house in Marfa, Texas. Earthen walls, one shaft of hard sunlight, rust linen and a heavy gold cuff.

Interpretation

Built up in layers of sand, burlap and resin, then scratched, burned and gilded, Terra Aurea reads like a wall that has survived centuries. Heavy, quiet and precious, with one dark opening at its heart.
